Amenities: Senate Square

24 12 2007

Lots of apartment buildings in the area offer a wide variety of amenities to try and lure perspective residents, but some in the area have managed to really standout. Buildings like the Meridian (with multiple locations in the area) all have small putting greens on property. Full gyms have become a must, and even pools are becoming common.

However the pool at Senate Square in the H street corridor downtown is by far the areas best water related amenity! It has the largest rooftop pool in the area and has views of the monuments and the Capitol Building! During these dreary days of winter, we can just picture how nice it would be to sit back and relax on the roof in the summer.

There are plenty of amenities the residents of Senate Square can also enjoy year round as well. There is an extensive clubhouse for entertaining, with multiple flat screen TVs, pool table, and kitchen. The fitness center has a personel TV for every piece of equipment. We really like that particular trend, as DCMetrocentric doesn’t like to talk to or look at other people when we work out!

i have to agree.

the pool is one of the biggest rooftop pool in dc.

is this going to set a trend for capitol hill? perhaps not, as there are so many restrictions on development on the ‘hill’, but as for the H street corridor, it remains to be seen.

kudos for posting a picture of one of the few LAP pools on an apartment in dc!

This spot has the potential for greatness. If they’re able to open up access to Union Station from the back (loading dock) area, the 5 min walk to metro would become 2.
