Rosslyn Skyline
9 01 2008We have been getting excited about Rosslyn Central Place for a while now! The million-square foot, mixed-use development in Arlington is not only going to be changing the way the area looks from the street, but also from the sky! Check out what the new skyline is going to look like! Amazing!

Last year the project passed housing, planning, and transportation commission scrutiny as well as gaining approval from the county board. Now that most of the hurdles are out of the way, this project is looking like it’s ready to move forward.
The most exciting part of the project has to be the areas first publicly-accessible observation deck overlooking Washington’s monuments. We have to admit that an observation deck has an intrinsic appeal to that tourist we all keep hidden deep down inside!
Follow the jump for a rendering of the two story observation deck planned…

As cool as the view will be from the top, I’m not so sure the exterior of the building is going to blend that well with the sourounding area.
I’m hoping they only colored it blue like that to highlight it from the other buildings in the rendering!
