Wouldn't National Cathedral be the tallest building? Or does it just seem that way as it is on a hill?

Well the Cairo Building in Dupont built in 1894 was the reason DC enacted the height limit. So I'm guessing it still has to be a contender, at least among residential buildings.

This picture was taken on top of Post Mass Ave. But I'm pretty sure the tallest building in the district is the one on K street in front of that park with the two towers. I saw it in one of those picture diagrams once.

But you can expect any new building in DC to max out the height limit. (Just like Post Mass Ave.)
