I've lived a block away from the site for a little less than two years and crime has never been an issue... Once City Vista, 450 Mass, the Dumont etc come online I suspect that the "violent" crime in the neighborhood will be a thing of the past. And why wouldn't a boutique hotel take the risk of opening up shop there... so many high end restaurants already exist within a 10 block radius, not to mention the six figure salary that most people living in the neighborhood have.
