Downtown Dining Al Fesco

21 04 2008

Located on top of the building at 11th and Pennsylvania Ave NW (right across from the Old Post Office) is this incredible rooftop location. It has just about everything you would want from a rooftop dining spot including, ample seating, greenery, lots of space, and of course a view (you can see the Capitol). Wish we had options like this for lunch!

Now it may be hard to find a better spot than this, but what do you think Washington, where is the best rooftop in town?

The old winner, at least for places open to the public, has to be the roof restaurant at the Hotel Washington, though it is not open right now! You could see the White House, plus it was covered in case of rain.

I think when the Hotel reopens they will have a rooftop restaurant again.

Yeah it how about Lauriol Plaza’s rooftop? The view is of 18th street, but you can’t beat the food!!!!!!!

I also worked at an office at1401 K street that had a nice rooftop you could eat lunch on and see Franklin Park! Very Nice!

I have a great view of the capitol and the monument on the top of my office building across from the FAA, but the setup is no where near as nice as that one!
