I thought the open kitchen without the counter was illegal under DCRA code. Do they have a permit for that?

the kitchen is the "open kitchen" concept sans counter sticking out. it actually ends up being spartan and with clean lines, hence very flexible. urban living = smaller, simpler kitchens??? I think so. all the units in this building have this kitchen design along with the translucent barrier to define bedrooms. (you can always put up a solid partition if you wish).

I've been in that unit. the view is fair. the 2 PHs with the bumpouts (not this PH though) have views up and down 14th which are real nice.

Is this the one? Seems pretty crappy for that much if you ask me. Not a good view either.
