No Deal for Greyhound Yet - Greyhound has put its property near Union Station up for sale and plans to lease it back while looking for new location. Why the District’s Greyhound station isn’t already incorporated into the Union Station complex is beyond us, and we are sure that anyone who has ever had to walk from the bus station up the street to Union Station shares our point of view! [WBJ]
Is there really even room in Union Station to fit Greyhound and all of the buses without making the place extremly crowded.
If you go in the greyhound station during christmas or thanksgiving you will see that its extremly full and that amount of people plus the people that would be getting on/off trains plus commuters and people shopping and getting on the metrorail at union station that all adds up to a lot of people.
