Policy Makes Progress on 14th

13 05 2008

Things are coming along nicely at the corner of 14th and T Street NW where the new restaurant Policy is planned to open later this year. The restoration of the gorgeous exterior is being done by MCN with the interior and exterior design by CORE architects, and it looks good!

CORE Architects are the same folks behind Mie-N-Yu and Sweetgreen in Georgetown. Policy is planned to be a restaurant/lounge type property that will fit nicely into the neighborhood and also plans to serve Wasabi Sushi.

We just love this building and it is great to see that the restoration is going so well and bringing out the original architecture touches that vanished over the years. We spoke to MCN and the building is still on track to be finished by the end of the year. [Photo: DCMetrocentric]

I wish I could have this as a house.

I thought Policy was the newly contructed building to the right of the one on the corner.
