PriceChopper: Kalorama

25 06 2008

Looks like DC’s mega mansions aren’t selling like the were in 2006! Remember that nice eight bedroom in Kalorama that we featured in our little Pricechecker game way back in November? After being on the market for A FULL YEAR at close to $6 million they finally chopped off an even million dollars bringing the price to $4,995,000… talk about following the market down.

now if they could do that for condo/townhouses in my area in Ballston, i’d be set! $480,000 for an under 900sf 2 bedroom 1.5 bath townhouse is a bit rediculous. i’d think that should be closer to $250,000.

@ e*c

Arlington on the Orange line will not take a major step backwards. Every other less appealing surrounding area would have to absolutely crater first.

We just featured the spa in this home in our latest issue. It’s the second featured spa bath in this story, with the armchair and the cool Porcelanosa tile.
