The New Georegetown Business
13 08 2008On University campuses throughout our area, construction is common place, but we have to say, Georgetown really is separating themselves from the pack and sparing no expense when it comes to their new Business School. We got a chance to check out the new building and were in awe of the details going into the classic Gothic building.

The 179,000 sq-ft building will enable Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business to move back on campus after occupying the Georgetown Car Bar for years. In order to fit in with the campuses historic buildings, the school has intricate brick and stone facades, copper accents, and an actual slate roof!
Follow the jump for a look at the main entrance and the amazing stone work…

The school will be complete by 2009 and ready for move in.
