NoMA MV Triangle - You may have heard that there is a new Safeway store open in DC at the City Vista? You would think people had never seen a nice grocery store before, but we understand how desperate this area of town has been for some nice grocery options, plus it has a nut bar! [PQLiving]
Anacostia - Another part of Poplar Point that hasn’t been getting that much media attention is ready for some development. The site is the stretch of land between the Metro station and the South Capitol Street Bridge. Initial ideas are for a big-box type store, which may not be the best use of this land, given other future developments for the area. [Anacostia Now]
