Great Shots: Other DC Skyline
22 09 2008With all the changes going on in Rosslyn, this view of the “other” DCMetro skyline taken from Georgetown isn’t going to stay the same for long. With Rosslyn Central Place, the new Rosslyn Turberry, and the Moore Street building all in progress the skyline will soon have multiple buildings at over 470 ft above sea level. Now that’s a skyline!

We have a very classy skyline, lots of interesting buildings with some great views of DC.
It’s a shame that the anything-goes Rosslyn skyline is visible from and clashes with the low, elegant DC skyline, which respects the monumental core. Greed over civility.
