DC School Garden Week
6 10 2008It’s Garden Week in the District! “Environmental awareness starts with the youngest people in our city,” said George S. Hawkins, Director of the District Department of the Environment. “School Garden Week presents great learning opportunities for students, families and educators alike.”

Throughout this week 80 area schools will host tours, workshops and games to celebrate DC School Garden Week. The timing is perfect to checkout some of the last bright remainders of summer. [Photo: Pappa91]
