New DCMetrocentric Features
6 10 2008In our never ending quest to bring you new and interesting stories in the world of DC development and architecture we are always trying out new ways to make our site better. You may have noticed a new feature on the menu bar called “Map It“ at the top of the site. The technology allows you to see all the stories from DCMetrocentric geographically on a map of the area.
Are you only concerned with what’s going on in Truxton Circle? Just check out the map and see what stories are from that part of town. Noticed a new building going up around the corner? Check out the map and see what’s being built.
As always, let us know what you think, we love to hear from you!
[Special thanks to New Columbia Heights for helping with the technology]

Awesome feature!
[…] and Gossip as it happens in the Nation’s Capital”. DC MetroCentric wrote a really nice post about StoryMaps as well. The StoryMaps look great, one in a sidebar and one in its own section […]
That’s a great feature. How hard was it to install that plugin?
