Dr. Dremo’s Demo
17 10 2008Our love of the dive bar Dr. Dremo’s has been long documented over the years, so it is with a heavy heart that we report to you that demolition has now finally begun on the building to make way for condos. We sent our crack photography team out to capture the destruction.
The struggle of this treasured hangout with it’s old couches and 100s of beers has come to symbolize the struggles neighborhoods go through as they become so popular, they push out the very businesses that made them so great in the first place. So raise a glass of chocolate doughnut or purple haze with us in honor of a bygone era! After the jump, a photo of what the entire interior of a bar looks like piled up on the street…
