Getting Ready for Inauguration

10 11 2008

Work continues for the inauguration stage being built on the steps of the Capitol Building. As we told you in September, the entire west side of the grounds has been closed off and will continue to be all the way up to Inauguration day.

We called the Architect of the Capitols office and asked if there was going to be anything special about the stage this year, and their reply was “No, it’s just going to be a stage.” Guess that means we shouldn’t expect anything showy then!
