the chicken is AWE INVOKING! i still prefer the peri peri in camden town in london. europeans appreciate good food, regardless of the "ritual". the camden joint stays open late (gotta love that), and it's absolutely vibrant.

omari: there's a place that you would LOVE. it's called KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN. but you already knew that.....

To say that their chicken is good is an understatement, Peri-Peri is the BEST chicken in DC and their sauces are just mouth watering!

Peri Peri on 7th Street is nothing great. The dine-in system--wait for a table, sit down with a menu, get back up to order, pour your own drinks, and then sit down to wait for food--is awkward. You might have to wait twice--once for a table, and once again to order. The last time I was there I was told we'd have to wait at least a half hour for some chicken because it was just put in the oven. All this for chicken that is good, but definitely not worth all that hassle.
