Rhodeside is one of the only "neighborhood" bars in this area, especially if you look at all the Rosslyn area, there is hardly anything there at night.

I will miss this place, but its almost May and its still unknown when this will happen.

Well considering how other developments have been put on hold because of the economy and mortgage crisis, like the doctor who was planning to redevelop his property at 1700 Wilson, it could be a long time before this happens, unless Science Teachers have figured out a new way to make money and get construction loans, in this economy.

Either way I hope they leave room for the restaurants as I got to Rhodeside with my neighbors all the time,

What a bummer! The new building looks nice, but I will miss Rhodeside. My husband and I had our first date there and ate there at least once a month.

ahh, the tension between added density and preserving character.

there are ways to add density without blandification -- doesn't look like that will be the case here, unfortunately.

Ugh, I'm really upset about this. I love Il Radicchio. Any idea when this is going to happen?
