We call the sign gratuitous misuse of fireworks for real estate, but we do love the golden cornice details on the actual property!

That sign has been up for at least 3 years; I’ve been waiting to see what they’re asking for it.
But it’s not entirely gratuitous use of fireworks: the fine prinit on the sign reads “Actual view from the top balcony of 900 East Capitol.”
That sign has been up since at least May 2007, and it might have been up several months before that. Curious. If anyone knows what the deal is I’d be interested to hear it.
The use of fireworks is always gratuitous!
