Courthouse Corner Cut!
1 04 2009Could our little tirade against the overhang of the new development in Courthouse have had an effect? A few weeks ago we showed you the crazy overhang which jutted all the way out over Clarendon Blvd, but now as you can see, it has been drastically cut back by almost 12 feet to a completely normal length.
That sure was a lot of steel to waste had they meant to do that all along (see before picture), and why would they have put cross supports on the section they ended up cutting off? Oh well, at least local giants can breath a sigh of relief, the potential eye hazard has been removed. [Photo: DCMetrocentric]
shame. i think it would’ve looked cool… and no, not even yao ming would have hit his head on that.
