Adams Morgan’s Eden
16 04 2009Tippster Colin sent us this shot of the new Eden development along Champlain St NW in Adams Morgan. The Eden will eventually be a boutique residential building designed by D.B. Lee Developement and is in a prime location for those who like to be close to the night life.
It does look like they are making some progress, but like many area projects the developer still has not decided whether they will market the Eden as condos or rental apartments. Big suprise, we know! They are apparently targeting a 2010 delivery.

The picture you are referring to with the comment, “Where are the windows?” is a massing study. It is intended to convey the height and bulk of the proposed development in relation to neighbors.
Yeah the comment at the end sounded more like a joke Mike, this is a blog after all. I imagine the people who run this site have seen a massing study or two…
I think it’s interesting how the rendering shows the building will not be flush with the facades of the surrounding buildings, but will stick out a few feet.
i’ve been doing a gig just a few doors up and was wondering what was going on there.
i’ve seen then cleaning off the sidewalk and the end of each day.
thats pretty cool of the workers.
what will this building replace? hopefully surface parking.
it replaces rowhouses.
