1200 East West Construction
25 08 2009While the new development 1200 East West in Silver Spring doesn’t exactly have the most interesting or original name, we do like the colorful art that’s going to be out front (lower left of the rendering). The multicolored sculpture will stand almost three stories tall and be at the corner of East West Highway and Blair Mill Rd. The building is slated to be ready for occupation in Spring 2010.

Occupation? Don’t you mean occupancy? You guys always have great posts and this typo is a rare oversight : )
Occupation is used correctly in this post… as in the state of being occupied.
Perhaps I’ve been in the business too long, but no one in the multi-family industry would say occupation. Look at any ad for an apartment or condo that is vacant and ready to move in. They always say immediate occupancy.
