DC Metrocentric

Now here is a view of the Capitol you don’t see very often. The shot was actually taken looking South across the fountain in the park between the Capitol and Union Station. The multicolored light display has been in operation since 1980 but because of its location on top of the Senate underground garage, it is not well known. The contrast between the pearly white Capitol dome and the colored water makes for one great shot!
