Home Sales Jump!
1 12 2009The Census Bureau and HUD released new numbers showing that a housing rebound is in the making for the new home sector. Sales of new single family homes were 6.2% above the revised September rate of 405,000 and 5.1% higher than October of last year. This is consistent with the numbers from the NAR we saw last month too, so it certainly seems like a trend to us.
