Monument Back into Watergate
11 12 2009The internets are a twitter over rumors that Monument Realty, after loosing out on the Watergate Hotel to auction may be back in the game, but right now all the parties are in denial mode, we will wait till the facts come out, but bottom line is uncertainty always seems to surround this property. We will keep you updated!
The George Washington University passed on the opportunity to purchase the land, now occupied by the Watergate complex, back in the 1940’s. Boy, the Foggy Bottom Association would have hated that!
