Courthouse Space Finally Leased

4 03 2010

Looks like the prime corner space of the newly finished west side of Courthouse plaza finally has secured a restaurant. During the early phases of this project the space was going to be a second location of the Southern standby Georgia Browns, but that didn’t work out. Now it looks like a restaurant called Fire Works will be selling brick oven Pizza.

We’re not sure they will be able to compete with some of the other pizza joints on the block including Faccia Luna and Liberty Tavern (which apparently was ranked one of the best pizzas in the country, who knew?).

It’s been leased for months. There appears to be a second space that remains unleased. Not sure which is the prime spot.

The restaurant is going into the prime corner space, the unleased retail space is further into the plaza side.
