Floorplanism: K St Georgetown

19 03 2010

You know those few residential units they built on top of the building behind the Swedish embassy down on the Potomac in Georgetown? Well here is one of the premo units for your floorplan gazing pleasure. The layout is decent enough, but for us it’s all about the over 2,700 sq feet of terraces (all with views of the Potomac by the way).

Check out another one of the units with even more terrace action here.

Nice, but what’s with the closed in kitchens?

Closed in kitchen = keep the “help” out of sight.

I think you’ve got it all wrong. These are the overflow apartments for the help and the kids attached to the Swedes in the Penthouse.
