The Interior: Modern Georgetown

Our new feature The Interior will take you inside the buildings that you have always seen from the outside but never the inside, whether it is an off limits government building, or that amazing residential structure, we will take you on a tour.

For the first installment we take a look at the modern condos at the entrance to the Key bridge in Georgetown. If you have ever crossed the Key Bridge, you have certainly seen these modern town homes rising up over the cliff at the edge of M street. Designed by McInturff Architects, the six residential units were built above two mid-nineteenth century buildings. The modern rooftops peak up over the skyline and we have always wondered what they look like inside…
